Transport Planner

Transport Planner required. We are currently representing a reputable Transport and Distribution company based in Wrexham seeking an experienced Traffic Planner to join their team.

Our client supply transport, warehousing, and distribution services to multiple industries with national/regional coverage. Utilising a large company fleet and operating across the UK with the facilities to transport, store, and distribution.

**Traffic Planner - Position Overview**

As an integral part of the team, you will ensure company compliance with all transport policies, legislation, and procedures. Identify operational issues, potential problems, and opportunities to improve the service and efficiency of transport operations.

You will be dealing with multi-drop deliveries & solving any issues on the road. Handle the dispatches, collections and returns and ensure all deliveries are quality checked, correctly packaged, and allocated.

**Traffic Planner - Position Requirements**
- Proven experience in an established transport operations role
- Excellent customer service and organisation skills
- Strong IT skills on Microsoft packages
- Full clean driving license
- Geographical knowledge of UK roads

**Traffic Planner - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £28,000 - £30,000 (Dependant on experience)
- Shift - 4 on / 4 off - 07.00 to 19.00
- 28 days' holiday including bank.
- Pension
- Parking on site
