This role is an integral position with our locally based client. They are a large employer in the local area, and they are seeking an experienced Production Planner who can ensure customer orders are produced and delivered on time. This Production Planner rolerequires an individual who is used to multi-tasking, can work well to deadlines, and is highly organised.
**Job Description**:
You will play an integral role in ensuring customer orders are produced and delivered on time and in full.
- Planning Blending and Filling Activities
- Support with the creation and management of production plans for the Blending and Filling Plant to fulfill current demand requirements
- Generate accurate reports and schedules to support the Planning Team
- Liaise with the Contracting and Procurement team to ensure the latest information is available from the Supply Chain
- Maintain live production orders within the MRP system
- Responsibility for capacity planning
- Maintain strong relationships with customer service and sales teams, ensuring any shortages, late delivers or balanced orders are communicated to customers
- Qualified to degree standard
- Experience using MRP (SAP preferred)
- Previous production planning experience in manufacturing.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to analyse and interpret data
- Team player
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT Skills
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

**Salary**: £30,000 Per Annum Plus Bonus
