Case Maker

**LV Valenbeck Ltd** have 3 exciting opportunities available for a **Case Maker / Packer** to join our team. We have 2 roles based in **Jarrow, Tyne and Wear** and 1 based in **Billingham, Cleveland**.** **You will join us on a **full-time, permanent** basis and in return, you will receive a **competitive hourly rate of £9.50 - £10.50 per hour.**

**Working hours**:Day Shift and Night Shift positions available

The **Case Maker / Packer **role

As our **Case Maker / Packer** you will be responsible for manufacturing export cases, crates and pallets. You will be packing and securing clients’ products for shipping worldwide.

**Your duties as our **Case Maker / Packer** **will include**:

- Complying with all Company HSQE guidelines and practices
- Building cases, crates and pallets by selecting, measuring, cutting timber using saws and hand tools; moving the product into place using a forklift truck, crane and conveyors
- Protecting and securing products into cases, crates or on pallets ahead of loading for shipment
- Identifying products for packing and shipping by verifying customer delivery information; preparing and affixing address labels and stencils
- Keeping the working area safe, clean and tidy
- Improving product protection by recommending improved designs and methods; conducting durability tests
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplishing manufacturing and organisation mission by completing related tasks as required

**What we are looking for in our ideal **Case Maker / Packer**:
Previous Experience in

- Wood Working Manufacturing
- Manufacturing Quality
- Manufacturing Methods and Procedures
- Tooling, Safety Management
- Lifting and Handling
- Counterbalance forklift licence preferred
