Mill Machinist

The position:

- Salary range £11-13/p.h depending on experience
- Based out of our HQ in Roath Dock, Cardiff
- 25 days holiday
- Mill Hours Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- Full Time, Permanent

F.W. Morgan are a long-established timber importer and builders merchant based in Cardiff, facilitating clients across the country. Due to expansion, they are looking for an Experienced Wood Machinist to join their Mill at their HQ in Cardiff.

The role involves setting and operating a variety of machinery including cross-cutting, band resaws and moulders to cut and prepare various timber products including structural and non-structural timber, decking, shiplap, loglap, framing, battens. Working to individually created cutting lists, you will be required to receive timber from our yard and undertake various machinery operations to prepare timber ready for export.
- Have at least 1 years’ experience working with timber machining
- Be able to work as part of a team and as an individual
- Show initiative and be proactive in your work
- Be a reliable member of our team and work to a high standard
- Have a good and positive attitude to work
