**What will the apprentice be doing?**

As a Software Engineer Apprentice, you will develop key skills and experience in the following:

- Programming skills in C or C++
- Knowledge of OpenGL, graphics programming and mathematical systems modelling
- Experience of working in multi-disciplined agile environment Familiarity with requirements management tools, aircraft and sensor systems and training simulator systems
- New tools and infrastructure used for the development engineering environment
- Development of quality software solutions that adhere to timescale and budget
- Opportunity to develop creative software solutions
- Organisational skills with well-rounded communication and relationship building abilities
- Digital Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**

Through apprenticeship you’ll be making the most of your talents, getting to understand engineering from the ground up; and doing so with the help of one of the biggest and best names in the industry.
