Senior Barista

**About us**

We are a specialist coffee shop in a lovely neighbourhood.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and friendly service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer

**Skills**:

- Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling and storage procedures
- Food preparation: Ability to prepare beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Help: Willingness to assist customers with their inquiries and provide recommendations
- Basic math: Ability to accurately calculate change and handle cash transactions
- Time management: Effective prioritization and multitasking skills to meet customer demands

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 5 years (required)
- Hospitality: 5 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 2 years (required)
