Full Time, Seasonal Delivery Driver

We are looking for someone to join our hard-working logistics team during our bustling Christmas season to help deliver festive joy to our customers.

**Specification**
- Report to your line manager with open and honest communication.
- Collection of stock or goods from a collection point ensuring that all customer orders are complete.
- Packing goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which deliveries will be made.
- Planning the most efficient route for deliveries.
- Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues.
- Driving in inclement weather such as snow.
- Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork.
- Updating route, mileage and delivery logs.
- Lifting and manual work will be required.
- Respectful approach to all Pugh’s policies including health and safety, and use of staff uniforms.
- Able to work bank holidays and some weekends on a rota basis.

We require all staff in this department to work together, under the logistics manager’s direction and the senior managers / directors leading - Teamwork, clear respectful 2-way communication and a positive attitude are all valued requirements of our team members.

We aim to keep on improving our customer service, plant quality and ranges, average transaction values, clarity of merchandising, inspiring displays, uncluttered paths, and overall housekeeping / plant maintenance across the whole department. We are passionate about these retail standards and will continue to improve them with your help for the ongoing strengthening of ‘The Pugh's brand’.
