Lockermarsh has 22 single occupancy bedrooms, and a double, with all of the bedrooms having en-suite facilities, and provides 24-hour care at all times.

All our food is home cooked and prepared and we offer home baking throughout the week.

The cook role includes;
- To manage the preparation of all meals in the Care Home.
- To undertake a range of tasks associated with food preparation including the preparation & safety checks; open & close down.
- To provide a daily balanced and nutritious menu option with seasonal variations
- To co-produce menus in partnership with residents within the home
- To manage a budget allocated to food preparation and menu design
- To understand the need to promote privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment of all residents, treating everyone with respect
- To help the residents to be able to continue the expression of their likes and dislikes and chosen person centred care packages.
- To develop a good working relationship with managers and be involved in staff training and development.
- To complete all paperwork necessary to maintain a 5 star standard within the home
- To home bake meals
- To clean the kitchen to the appropriate standard

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
