**Press Brake Operator/Setter**

Procter Machine Safety are an industry leading well established UK company providing a comprehensive range of high quality safety compliant machine guarding and safety solutions across all sectors of industry. Due to continued growth we require and experience Press Brake Operator/Setter to join our expanding sheet metal department.

**Daily duties**
- Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
- Read and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
- Bending and shaping mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc. to customer specific requirements
- Carrying out tool changes between jobs
- Measuring and checking dimensions
- Produce quality parts in a timely fashion
- Inspecting work for quality
- Compliance with health & safety and relevant certification
- Communicate effectively all issues affecting smooth daily operation

**Skills, experience and attributes**
- At least 3 years’ experience of press brake operation
- The ability to understand, interpret and work from drawings
- Able to work off your own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail to ensure high quality output
- An efficient approach to your work to ensure production deadlines are met
- Understanding of accreditation and certification standards.
- Effective clear communicator
- Flexibility to undertake other tasks as required

- Hours: 0700 - 1600 Monday - Thursday 0700 - 1200 Friday

**Salary**: £11.50-£15.50 per hour
