**37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**

The **Exams and Registration Officer **will provide high quality exam and registration services to the college in related aspects of the function such as registration, examination, in-year and end point assessment, invigilation, verification activity and certification across all college provision types.

Through the medium of a business partner model the Exams and Registration Officer will ensure that services within the role are delivered to an exceptional standard, are timely and are responsive to the needs of the business as instructed by the leadership and management team. They will work collectively with curriculum heads to ensure that their related service needs are met.

**Responsibilities of our** **Exams and Registration Officer**:

- Support the Exams and Registration Manager in monitoring and maintaining examination standards and Awarding Organisation compliance
- Responsible for a caseload of curriculum areas, or specific streams of work, working proactively with lecturers, students and awarding bodies in respect of examination requirements, entries, results and communication, ensuring accuracy of all qualification and unit data
- Coordinate the registration, booking, smooth running and administration of all Apprenticeship End Point Assessments (EPA)
- Lead on the preparation and management of examinations
- Lead on the coordination of the colleges SV/EQA activity working closely with the quality team
- Oversee the conduct of examinations and the security of papers and scripts to ensure full compliance with JCQ standards and examination board regulations
- Responsible for the annual set up of ProSolution examinations data, ensuring accuracy of all aspects of data
- Monitor information received from the examining boards and take follow-up action to ensure that the College complies with new or revised requirements
- Support the Exams and Registration Manager in creating and updating exams related policies and procedures and ensuring effective implementation and compliance
- Recruitment and management of invigilation team, and provision of training for college staff who are undertaking invigilation duties during particular exam periods
- Undertake checking and audit routines to ensure accuracy with all aspects of exam data, contribute to internal audit planning and support preparation for external audits
- Drive continuous improvement in the exams function, offering ideas to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our use of ProSolution and other electronic solutions

**What we’re looking for in our** **Exams and Registration Officer**:

- L2 English and Maths
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience of working in an office/administration environment
- Experience of maintaining and processing large quantities of data, including collection and analysis
- Knowledge of examinations procedures and practices
- Knowledge and Understanding of GDPR
- Knowledge of different funding streams
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work demands to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
- Professional and responsive attitude and behaviour towards colleagues and clients
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
