You’ll need an intellectual curiosity to get to grips with sophisticated challenges that come with conference production and be happy working to very tight deadlines. This role offers the opportunity to accelerate your career rapidly, travel internationally and gain a broad understanding of business issues within the science industry.

**About HSJ**

Health Service Journal (HSJ) provides a deep understanding of the NHS through a wide range of services and solutions - news, analysis, insight, data and in person Events
- aimed at senior management, decision-makers and policy makers in the UK healthcare industry.

HSJ events unite high-level decision makers from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds on a platform that enables discussions, influences change and positively impacts healthcare delivery through carefully designed programmes and invaluable networking opportunities.

Our
**Wilmington Events EMEA** team deliver successful events for a variety of leading brands within our portfolio of businesses including Health Service Journal (HSJ), International Compliance Association (ICA), AXCO and MiExact.

Main Purpose of Role:
We are looking for driven, enthusiastic and confident recent graduate to join our content and event production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first steps on the career ladder with an award EMEA Event team that offers extensive career opportunities, travel and world class training.

Skills and Experience Required:

- The ability to multi-task and to take full ownership of projects
- A commercial outlook and high degree of interest in current business issues and industry trends
- You are very comfortable and confident cold-calling, generating leads, and holding engaging conversations with senior level professionals
- The ability to assimilate complex information quickly
- Excellent written communication skills for copywriting
- Strong time management skills - able to work under pressure to deadlines
- Proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to analyse research and write a strong benefit driven conference program and marketing copy.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ambitious in your approach and are only satisfied in working at the highest standards.
- A salesperson by nature, when it comes to locating and inviting fresh first-class speakers and industry leaders, from leading world-class organisations, who can address the issues in the agenda you have created.
- Positive, Confident and Professional. A Can-Do Work Ethic. Willing to put the hours in to hit deadlines. High Energy, Resilient and Well Organised. Can work out complex problems and find solutions on your own initiative.
