Ladies Hairdresser

Clip Joint has been trading over 35 years. We are one of the most established hairdressers in the West Midlands. We offer an individual service to each and every Client whether it be a gents trim or a Ladies full head colour correction

We have two floors, our first floor is dedicated to Ladies and our ground floor to the Gents offering the latest products and techniques available.

The team is taught to integrate new members instantly which creates an atmosphere of comfort and team work

We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist with a minimum of 3 years shop floor experience to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for hair while providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide hair services such as cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and preferences
- Recommend appropriate hair products and treatments to clients
- Mentor junior stylists and assist with their professional development
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Assist with store management tasks as assigned
- Handle front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client records
- Upsell salon products and services to clients

**Skills**:

- Strong technical skills in cutting, styling, colouring and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and train junior stylists
- Knowledge of store management tasks such as inventory management and scheduling
- Basic Barbering would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Upselling abilities to promote salon products and services

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

**Experience**:

- stylist: 3 years (preferred)
- Hairdressing: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
