**QA Automation Engineer**
1 day onsite ideally - remote working option
Our client, a leading banking organisation have an exciting opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer to join on a permanent basis. The role will be intergal in helping develop the organisations Automation processes and landscape. To work closely with theQA Lead to improve the team’s processes and approach to test Automation ensuring that Automation coverage is fit for purpose.
**Key responsibilities and tasks**
- Maintain a fully functioning test automation pack for the Banks key systems (including Mobile App, Salesforce and EBS)
- Ensure tests run overnight via Jenkins and the results are monitored daily
- Provide regular updates and escalate, if necessary, on the progress of testing.
- Organising and facilitating testing, reporting, and signing off all testing assigned to you
- Conducting meetings with key business user's to ensure a full understanding of each change to allow for effective testing and establishing what tests need to be automated
- Working with third parties to ensure full and complete testing is undertaken in line with the Banks standards.
- Remain customer focused at all times and strive for business excellence.
- Work with all stakeholders to ensure that project work is delivered against all key deliverables and the test Automation is utilised to contribute to this.
- Provide post-implementation support by performing post implementation testing if required.
- Develop relationship with internal operating groups and external customers.
- Other ad-hoc tasks and/or projects as required by line manager and in line with the skills and responsibilities of the job holder.
- Use Zephyr within JIRA to help plan both Automated and Manual test runs
**Essential Skills**
- Automation testing experience within a WebDriverIO Framework
- Significant experience of Java Script
- Demonstrate Automation of hybrid Mobile app with APPIUM
- Demonstrate Front End Automation within Salesforce using Selenium and WebDriverIO
- Experience of writing API Automation with tools such as Postman
- Exposure to Testing best practices
- Experience of BDD
- A flexible, responsive, positive, and team-oriented outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present test evidence clearly and to work effectively with staff and management at all levels
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience of Mentoring and Training team members on all aspects of Test Automation
- Demonstrate use of Jenkins to schedule and run tests
- JIRA / Zephyr
- Track record of working with Jenkins
