**Description**

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for;
Working as part of the Group Finance team, this role is responsible for timely, accurate and compliant month end close processes for two Head Office entities and various dormant companies, alongside project work.
- Maintain the month end calendar and underlying processes for all Head Office entities to ensure that month end close and reporting is completed in accordance with group reporting deadlines.
- Preparing journals as required and controlling fixed assets, prepayments and accruals for the head office entities.
- Completing monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts for 2 main head office entities along with several smaller entities.
- Preparation of monthly P&L reports by cost centre, including commentary on variances to budget/forecast.
- Raising head office intercompany recharges and liaising with UK and overseas operations.
- Reconciling intercompany accounts monthly.
- Liaise with the AP team to ensure correct coding of invoices, and with the Treasury team as required.
- Assisting in preparing Government statutory reports.
- Assisting with external audit queries
- Support in the preparation and delivery of the annual budget cycle and the forecast process.

**Profile**
- Ideally experience in a similar role
- Ideally studying for ACCA/CIMA Accountancy Qualification but its not essential
- Strong Excel Skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet month end deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and good attention to detail

**Job Offer**
- Salary £35,000 - £42,000
