We are on the mission to find an experienced HGV C + E Low loader Driver to support our Bodyshop and rental sites in Leicester and Loughborough.

**Full time | Permanent**

up to £16.25 per hour

**The Challenge**:
We believe that as a professional HGV driver you will uphold the high standards set by the company and run the truck in an effective manner and minimise damage to the vehicle.

To succeed, you will need:

- Hold a Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) in date
- The HGV Category C+E licence, also known as the Class 1 licence
- 1 to 2 years’ experience moving heavy goods vehicles using the low - loader
- Up to date Digi card for your class 1

The hours are 06:00 am to 16:00 pm Monday to Friday with one hour lunch break.

- **This is what you can expect within the role**:

- Carry out daily checks in line with company procedures prior to leaving depot to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, the load is safe and secure, and the correct vehicle is being taken out
- Moving, collecting, and delivering trucks
- Communicate with customers
- Support the Bodyshop by delivering chassis or fully build vehicle to Loughborough
- You will be responsible for carrying out a walk around check of your vehicle before your journey commences to make sure that it is safe to drive and that it complies with regulations
- Taking vehicles on and off low loader
- Making sure vehicles are fully secured & securing equipment is correctly operated
- Keeping your truck clean and tidy
- Carry out any other duties that may be required as directed by your line manager
