**The Cory Brothers** are delighted to be recruiting for a **fabulous Credit Control Administrator** role based in our **Head Office in Ipswich.**

We are looking for **EITHER** someone with no experience however good administration skills and a passion for Finance and ability/willingness to learn or someone with some experience in the field. **Salary will vary based on experience.**

The Cory Brothers Limited, established in 1842, is one of the **market leaders** specialising in Port and Hub Agency, Freight Forwarding and Liner Agency with **offices around the globe.**

**Encompassing all some aspects of credit control with a strong emphasis on Administrative tasks that support the Credit Control Manager and Team. Your Main duties will consist of**:
**(Full training will be given and you will not be expected to know how to complete from your first day)**
- Downloading Bank Statements and posting Bank transactions into Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central;
- Coding remittance advices;
- Query coding and informing relevant Operational departments;
- Liaison with Operational departments relating to expected funds;
- Opening/Amending new accounts;
- Processing credit checks;
- Creating, issuing and digital filing of Credit approval letters;
- Adhoc clerical tasks as required;
You may also be asked to support the Credit Control team with the following tasks;
- Processing of refunds due back to customers;
- Monitoring and maintenance of customer details to ensure accuracy of information;
- Monitoring of debtors to identify and prioritise appropriate action on any collection issues;
- Collection of monies due from debtors within credit terms;
- Constant monitoring and maintenance of all ledger entries to ensure accuracy of information, including multi-currency transactions, recorded on customer accounts;
- Undertake and complete account reconciliations as and when required;
- Timely issue of statements and reminder letters in accordance with collection routines or as required;
- Preparation and circulation of regular reports (including Receipts; Queries; VAT/Duty) and other reporting as required;
- Undertake external and internal correspondence as required;
- Liaison with operational departments for the timely resolution of queries;
- Accessing external systems (Credit Vetting/Bank/ShipTrak/Multifreight) as required;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and managers to understand all aspects and needs of the business;
