We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a successful, rapidly growing company in a full time, permanent, role that offers a great salary, supported study, and the chance to develop your careerBased in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Gwynedd coast, in this varied accounts role you will be responsible for meeting the day to day demands of accounts and office administration. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be workingwith a friendly, driven team in an idyllic location.

As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:

- All aspects of Accounts payable
- Posting of supplier invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Issuing remittances
- Creating and posting the accrual and prepayment journals
- Bank reconciliation and daily cash forecasting
- Sales/nominal ledger maintenance
- Producing customer statements
- Ownership of refunds and returns
- General accounts tasks and other duties as necessary

I am keen to speak to anyone with the following skills or experience;
- Proven recent experience of accounts payable ideally within retail / e commerce
- AAT Qualification or working towards (desirable)
- Strong Accounts experience (2 years minimum)
- Previous experience of accruals, prepayments and journals
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ideally Intermediate Excel skills (VLookUp, Pivot tables)
- Experience of using SharePoint, Teams and Volo software would be an advantage
- Have the ability to manage, plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines

This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, with a salary in Circa of £24,500 negotiable dependent on skills and experience, plus a supported study package after successful completion of probationary period.

This role would be commutable from, Pwllheli, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Porthmadog, Caernarfon, Bangor and parts of Conwy.Successful applicants would need a full UK licence and own vehicle.
