**Assistant Transport Manager Position Overview**

Working closely with the Transport Manager you will be responsible for assisting in Planning, Office Management, Driver & Fleet Management, Customer Services and Account Management.

The core focus of the role will be split between planning the company's Heavy Haulage fleet and assisting the Transport Manager in day to day management of the depot. This is a great opportunity to learn and progress into the Transport Manager Position withinthe company and gain a Managers CPC.

**Assistant Transport Manager Position Requirements**
- Proven experience in planning heavy Haulage fleets / operations - Highly Desirable
- Excellent Customer service / account management skills - Essential
- Understanding of the following systems - Stirling, Abhaulier, TomTom Tracker, Excel and Outlook - highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of Abnormal loads, Plant Hire Transport & Logistics, Hazardous Goods Transport sectors are highly desirable.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the Transport industry.

**Assistant Transport Manager Position Remuneration**
- Circa £28 - £34K - DOE
- Excellent progression / learning opportunity
