Ashington Brooke Ltd provides temporary emergency accommodation for homeless households across 4 properties in Inverness and one in Muir of Ord. Within the 5 properties, we provide accommodation for just over 50 people.

The company is a small, family run business. Between us, we ensure that the houses and gardens are cleaned and maintained. We all do our best to ensure the quality of the client's experience in temporary accommodation is the best it can be.

No day is likely to be the same and although there are no fixed daily tasks to be undertaken any number of the tasks listed below may end up being undertaken during a shift.
- Cleaning common areas (kitchens, bathrooms, corridors), undertaking room turn overs when clients leave, which may include packing up the clients’ belongings as well as processing laundry including pressing;
- Liaison with the Highland Council staff and other Agencies;
- Checking in new clients;
- Patrolling the properties on a regular basis to ensure everything is ok in the property;
- Assisting clients who cannot get into their room;
- Dealing with fire alarms that have been set off;
This is not an exhaustive list of the tasks required, but gives a flavour of the variety of the role.

The rate of pay is £10.50 per hour, as well as statutory holiday entitlement and an Auto-Enrolment Company Pension Scheme.

The shift patterns that we are looking to cover are Monday - Friday 13:00 - 21:00

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Inverness: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
