Meadowside Short Breaks in Walmer, Deal provides overnight residential opportunities for people with disabilities from the age of 18 years old.
We are recruiting a 30 hour per week, Team Coordinator to lead a team during shift hours.
Working in a Good CQC rating team we are looking for individuals who can be flexible in their approach, are able to work collaboratively and share our commitment to improving outcomes for adults. You will be required to lead shifts and work as a member of a team providing a nurturing and safe environment which promotes the emotional and physical well-being of the adult accessing overnight residential short breaks.
The job requires the ability to co-ordinate shift plans, ensure accurate record keeping (quality assurance), liaise with other professionals, care planning, and provide supervision and support to staff while monitoring standards of care. You will need to hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and need to have experience of working with young people in a residential setting. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and adult protection and be able to take personal and professional responsibility for your actions and performance. In return, you will be provided with a rolling programme of specialist training and be offered regular supervision to enable you to confidently progress in your career.
You would be required to work a set shift pattern, which includes two weekends per month and sleep-in duties. The current working in pattern is 2pm till 10.30pm with sleep in followed by a 7am till 3pm finish.
