Monday to Friday from 7.00pm onwards

**Salary**: £10.30 per hour + Annual Allowances

This is a great opportunity to work for the UK’s leading veterinary wholesaler. Our business provides a next day supply and distribution service through our nationwide network of distribution depots, serving an average of 2220 customers every day

This is a **full-time **opportunity for you to join our Distribution team in our Stoke depot.

**What you will be doing**
- To collect and deliver samples on behalf of external customers. Collection entry data is recorded on a company mobile app, full training will be given.
- Carry out vehicle inspections before commencing shift to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy, this is completed daily via an app.
- Ensure all work related equipment is working efficiently.
- Ensure all work stationary is present to allow correct procedure to be followed.
- Report back to Lockbox supervisor on receipt of daily work e mail.
- Liaise with other drivers in your team as to how you share the daily collection workload.
- Drive and act in a courteous manner at all times befitting of the companies behaviour policy as per the drivers handbook (provided)
- On completion of nightly collections, liaise with other drivers involved in the transfer of the samples to coordinate a safe, smooth & exact handover.
- At the handover point all samples to be counted from van to van and checked against paperwork
- Whilst collecting samples, drivers are to complete paperwork relating to the amount collected and from which customer as guided by the e mail sent at the beginning of the shift.
- Regular lifting up to 15kg is required, and occasionally up to 25kg

- Previous delivery/collection experience, driving up to 3.5 tonne vehicles
- A current full driving licence (a clean licence is preferred)
- Hard working and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy working with people and offering a first class service to customers
- Effective communication skills

Successful applicants will be required to disclose any unspent criminal convictions to the Company. A DBS check will be carried out in compliance with Home Office guidelines. Applicants should be aware that with in line with our Drugs and Alcohol policy random tests are carried out.
