Are you an experienced Electrical Assessor looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Hugh Baird College. As an Electrical Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing training sessions both in the college and workplace, ensuring that learning outcomes are met. You will develop resources and teaching materials to support learners and keep up-to-date with industry changes from both a learning and commercial perspective.
We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach to work and can adapt to meet the needs of our learners and employers. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create excellent working relationships and continuously improve our learners' experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver and assess competence-based training including group or classroom-based sessions, in the workplace or College environment.
- Develop resources and teaching materials to meet course frameworks and learning outcomes.
- Set, mark, and assess students’ work, ensuring that learning outcomes have been met and that feedback is both detailed and constructive.
- Set and mark homework or completed work in accordance with College policy and undertake exam invigilation as required.
- Work collaboratively with Curriculum Co-ordinators, Pastoral Co-ordinators and Curriculum Managers/Directors ensuring full compliance with all quality assurance systems and processes.
- Participate in networks to build new relationships that benefit both the Directorate and the College.
- Engage in peer-driven Cross-College development initiatives ensuring pedagogy is continually developed keeping abreast of the most recent practice and technological developments.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching/assessment and learning on Electrical installations Apprenticeships standards at the College sites and in the workplace.
- Ability to provide appropriate pastoral support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in order to deliver individual and team objectives.
- To work collaboratively with curriculum/employers to produce quality standards.
- D32/33 A1 or equivalent
- Qualification in electrical installations or equivalent
