Tower Crane Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety.

**Duties**:

- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads according to work orders or instructions
- Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Communicate with ground workers to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating cranes
- Maintain logs of crane operations and submit reports as required

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating various types of cranes
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Capable of digging and moving materials as needed
- Commercial driving experience is beneficial
- Previous work in a warehouse setting is advantageous

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From £18.74 per hour
