**About this role**
Working with a qualified Building Surveyor, you will be:

- Undertaking building inspections in order to obtain and record important project data;
- Develop concept and detailed proposals for project work;
- Assist in administering works contracts in the delivery of client’s projects;
- Support professional staff in building consultancy matters generally;
- Assist with writing specifications and schedules of work;
- Gradually work on own initiative and under autonomy whilst maintaining communication with the wider team and senior Directors.
- Taking pride in everything you do, always acting with integrity and taking an entrepreneurial approach
- Build working relationships with existing clients and other service providers
- Provide market leading performance enhancing Savills brand and local market knowledge
- Have a dedicated client focus - effective client interaction with excellent lines of communication; work to identify customer needs; deliver upon commitments to clients; provide added value.

**How you’ll make an impact**

Savills Cambridge Building and Project Consultancy are looking for an apprentice building surveyor to join our successful and proactive team of 14, consisting of building surveyors and project managers.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on diverse range of projects alongside highly qualified and experienced building surveyors in a friendly and supportive environment.

This role offers excellent prospects for career progression.

**Training**

Our training and development programme is highly regarded as one of the best in the industry and is geared towards enabling our apprentices to reach their full potential.

We offer a 5 year training programme (Level 6 Apprenticeship) which includes a part time undergraduate degree (4 years) overlapping with an APC training programme (2 years, enrolled in year 4 of the undergraduate degree) leading to becoming a Chartered BuildingSurveyor with an RICS qualification.

Full on the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship programme in order that you qualify successfully.

**Career development**

We will provide the full suite of Savills training programme including mandatory health and safety and office training.

We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up to date with changes to legislation and business needs.
