**Location: Thornbury, Bradford BD3 7AY (This is an office based role initially, however, we are open to hybrid working options)**

**Office Hours: 37 Hours per Week. This is a permanent role covering a variety of shift patterns. Initially, this role will operate between a working window - Monday to Friday 07:00am - 6:00pm. The full working window for this role will however be between the hours of Monday to Sunday 07.00am to 10.00pm (including Bank Holidays on a rota basis).**

**Role Type: This is a full time role, working on a temporary basis for 12 x months**

We are looking for a Scheduler to join Yorkshire Water at a unique and exciting time to help shape the way we work and manage our end-to-end customer journeys going forward. We want our colleagues to feel empowered through each step of the operational process and to work together, constantly improving the way we work so we get it right first time.

In this role you will work alongside a team of Schedulers all focused on the efficient delivery of the planned and reactive work to improve the performance factors of safety, environment, delivery, and cost to ultimately improve asset availability. The position is responsible for all administrative tasks to ensure the efficient and effective building of the schedules within their allocated area.

- Poor timescales
- Wasted visits
- Ineffective communications
- A lack of ‘first time fix’

**Who are we looking for?**

As the business moves towards a more modern approach, we are looking for an experienced Planner or Scheduler to learn new skills, to join our innovative Clean Water Networks team, we are looking for someone who

- Has previous Scheduling and Planning experience, preferably from utilities or manufacturing background
- Has strong computer literacy and is able to use systems to help plan and schedule work
- Is able to prioritise work, manage workloads and set daily targets.
- Is able to work with colleagues to problem solve to overcome risks to benefit customer experiences.
- Is passionate and enthusiastic about delivering an excellent customer experience to our customers.
- You will be able to understand customer needs, show empathy and creative positive outcomes.
- You will be highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and work on your own initiative, using problem solving skills to resolve customer issues.
- Is a strong communicator you will have good written and verbal communication skills.
