Dog Trainer

DogWalk is seeking a passionate and reliable dog trainer to join our dedicated team. We're a fast-growing pet service company in Stratford upon Avon that values the joy and comfort dogs bring to our lives.
**Compensation**:
- Pay is per dog, based on the specifics of each assignment.
- Dog trainers can expect to earn between £13-£60 per hour, depending on the job requirements (number of pets).
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct training sessions for dogs, focusing on behaviour modification, obedience, and specific owner requests.
- Provide timely feedback to pet owners regarding their dog's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Develop customised training plans tailored to each dog's unique needs and temperament.
- Be attentive to the unique needs of different breeds and temperaments of dogs.
- Handle dogs of varying sizes and temperaments with confidence and care.
- Ensure all training equipment is in good condition and appropriate for the specific dog.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working with dogs, preferably in a professional training or care setting.
- Knowledge of different dog breeds, understanding their unique behaviours and training requirements.
- Capability to manage dogs of diverse sizes and temperaments.
- CPR and First Aid certification for pets is highly desired.
- **Self-Employment**: Applicants need to be self-employed and handle their tax responsibilities. This role is contract-based and does not come with typical full or part-time employment benefits.
