ROLE SUMMARY

To work as part of the central weighing team to prepare bulk orders into collated work groups, be responsible for the picking, returning and housekeeping of the raw materials required for these work groups, service the compounding and manufacturing departments with their requirements, and maintain the flow of raw material stock in and out of the warehouse. The role also requires you to produce bulk orders for the manufacturing department of raw materials weighed in accordance with a computerised recipe system and handle and dispense raw materials by optimising processes in order to consistently maximise Health and Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Productivity by complying with procedures in place.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform C.T.I. activities as per daily/weekly schedule. Contribute to and participate in Rapid Improvement Events and Projects, as required. Follow basic Trouble Shooting Processes in order to address issues. Support the weighing process, by ensuring the compounder has everything they need to complete their job with no down time. Responsible for raw material stock holding in accordance with GMP standards, including cycle counting, physical stock housekeeping, WMS housekeeping, handling of hazardous/flammable materials, expired stock, D&O stock removal, raw material sampling. Carry out all departmental checks, including MHE, BOS, H&S, and raw material stock. Provide information and training to other manufacturing staff to support organisational needs as well as generating content for Work Instructions etc. Ensure that output targets are achieved at the lowest possible cost whilst complying to required quality standards and maintaining customer demands Continuously drive waste reduction. Precisely follow all written compounding instructions. Handle, decant, and dispense raw material in line with set guidelines and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Check and accurately complete required paperwork or related systems concerned with compounding and weighing of raw materials, including relevant batch documentation. - Work closely with IC and R&D to provide full support for pilot bulk batch activities. - Participate, if required, in daily Department Reviews. Maintain the required standard of hygiene and housekeeping in accordance with site procedures.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Carry out planned maintenance tasks. Operate all MHE equipment in a safe and compliant manner. Ability to identify and report mechanical faults on all MHE equipment. Laminar Downflow Booth cleaning to be carried out in accordance with training and current process, in a timely manner. Use man-up combi trucks, counterbalance, and stacker trucks in a safe manner. Be proficient in current electronic shop floor control systems (Trac-it, SAP). Good knowledge of equipment, processes, and procedures for the central weighing and warehouse departments (one-point lessons/work instructions).

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES
Follow all Company Safety Procedures and adhere to all processes, procedures and guidelines in place, including and not limited to: COSHH, PPE, accident/incident reporting, first aid, manual handling, RSI and Risk Assessment. Adhere to all Health & Safety at Work obligations. Adhere to compounding specific safety guidelines e.g. ATEX, COSHH, PPE. Report issues and escalating concerns to central weighing Supervisor/Cell Manager. Notify responsible persons in case of EMERGENCY/INCIDENT: (Fire, spillage, bomb, major injury). - Knowledge of evacuation procedures. Ensure adherence to 5S methodology. Challenge non-compliance to H&S, Quality and Hygiene Guidelines.
