**HGV Driver - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon area - Full Time**

**Benefits**:

- Hourly Rate: £12.02 per hour
- Location: Will be required to work across Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon areas
- Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (can be flexible)
- Holiday pay (pro rata)
- Duration: Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, may be extended

**You will drive and be responsible for any allocated refuse collection, skip collection or street sweeping vehicle, including transportation of the crew. Duties include**:

- Drive, operate and be responsible for allocated vehicle and any authorised passengers.
- Ensure that the vehicle is safely manoeuvred on the daily route.
- Ensure public and crew members are alerted in relation to road safety hazards during operations.
- Comply with Road Traffic Act and all relevant driving regulations and guidelines.
- Responsible for the care and daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Use radio and other telecommunications facilities as required.
- Refuse/Recycling Bin Collection/ Sweeping Duties/ Bulk Refuse Collection Duties/ Skip Collection Vehicle Duties, when allocated.

**Criteria**:

- Must have Digital Tachograph Card & DVTA Driver Qualification Card.
- Two years’ experience driving HGV vehicles.
- Full current driving licence (valid in the UK) including entitlement to drive Category C vehicles (over 3500kg).
- Applicants may be asked to attend a driving assessment as part of the selection process.
- Effective communication skills; Effective team working; Ability to provide excellent customer service; Interest in environmental matters.
