Harris City Academy is a secondary school and sixth form located in Orpington. The school is part of the Harris City federation which delivers high quality education to the pupils they serve.
As an IT Technician Apprentice, you’ll work as part of an innovative and responsive IT team to provide first-line support for our schools. You will assist with the maintenance of school services, provide remote support, and keep the school systems maintainedto the highest possible standard.
Other responsibilities could include:
- Incident, Request and Problem Management
- Ensure that all IT Support needs are logged correctly on the Service Management system
- Re-route or escalate IT support tickets to the appropriate team or person
Our goal is to transform you into a fully competent technician, ideally open to accepting a full-time, permanent position within the team, with opportunities for progression in the future. This apprenticeship could lead to Senior Technician roles to workingas a Service Manager supporting academies across the federation.
