Nursery Cook

Job Overview:
Rate of pay £11.44 per hour

Hours of work - 9.00 -1.00 Monday to Friday (start time/finish time can be negotiable give or take 15-30 mins)

All year round, permanent position (51 weeks per year).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking meals for the children, baking/making deserts, meeting dietary requirements, and presenting foods age appropriately.
- Required to provide 2 course hot lunch and a lite tea.
- Dishwashing, cleaning of the kitchen, maintaining levels of cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen keeping our 5 star rating.
- Responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen, record keeping and following our policies and procedures.
- Handling allergens with a serious attitude and adhering to cultural requests.
- Level 2/3 Food Hygiene and safety qualification essential and other additional food related qualifications desirable but opportunity for further training courses online.
- Personal qualities we are looking for - friendly, polite, professional, positive role model and able to work as part of a team but also show initiative when working alone.
