We are seeking proactive and engaging Cover Supervisors to join schools in Stevenage. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be pivotal in maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring that students continue their learning in the absence of their regular teacher.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise classes and manage behaviour during the absence of the teacher.
- Distribute and explain homework assigned by the teacher.
- Ensure the classroom environment remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom setup.
- Monitor and report on students' behavior and progress during class.
- Maintain discipline according to the school's policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage groups of students effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and the capability to work autonomously.
- A professional attitude and the aptitude to act as a role model.
- Previous experience in a similar role or setting would be advantageous but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
