**_Experience_**
- Experience in a Housekeeping role
- Qualified to SCQF Level 5 in Hospitality or working towards
- Food Hygiene and Handling Certificate or working towards
- Experience of working in a similar residential care facility performing a range of cooking and domestic tasks
- Experience of Preparation and cooking of meals daily for a number of individuals

**_Knowledge and Skills_**
- Knowledge of how to plan and order provisions as required.
- Knowledge of storage regulations of provisions.
- Knowledge of using domestic equipment such as vacuums and cookery equipment
- Have an understanding of basic Health and Safety procedures including COSHH regulations and infection control
- Awareness of Health Promotion and Nutrition Scotland Act (2007)
- Awareness of Environmental Health guidelines
