**Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:15pm**

Your main duties as a Senior pharmacy Assistant Technical officer (SATO) for the pharmacy department will be to support the department by performing ward stock top up, ordering medication, conducting monthly audits, acting as a deputy in absence of procurement lead and providing cover for the pharmacy administrator.

**What you can add**:

- Undertake general ward based top up, ordering, receiving goods, month expiry checks.
- Ensuring the processing of routine daily orders for stock and non-stock lines via the Pharmacy computer system for all stock holding locations.
- Processing unplanned requests for medicines (non-formulary, specials/unlicensed medicines, medicines obtained out-of-hours) in a timely fashion to ensure patient needs are met.
- Updating and maintaining pharmacy computer files relevant to contract details, purchasing, pricing and invoice processing of pharmaceutical products.
- Using Pharmacy IT system to undertake routine checks of stock levels in the Pharmacy, checking expiry dates and ensuring that stock is rotated according to expiry date.

**What you’ll need**:

- _Hold NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent._
- _Mental Health experience._
- _Knowledge/experience of JAC & RIO. _
