In this role, as a member of IT Operations, the Database Services Manager is responsible for the support and architecture of SQL and Oracle database instances in a highly virtualized environment.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Responsible for technical oversight and guidance to Database team members as well as handling personnel management duties.
- Deliver operational support and analysis as part of the organisation's Standard Maintenance, Month End Financial Close and Service Management processes.
- Implements and maintains the vital controls and procedures to efficiently protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modifications, disclosure, theft or destruction.
- Participate in after hours critical production support as the need arise
