We have a brand-new opportunity for an Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain Team.

Reporting to the Senior Supply Planner Supply Planner will be responsible for producing and publishing production plans for the Ultrapharm site, balancing efficient production verses customer demand.

This role is primarily site-based, with some travel to other Finsbury and / or supplier sites may be required.

**This is what you’ll actually do**

You will manage and maintain planning data and system parameters and review demand from customers and adjust production plans accordingly. You will upload daily customer orders and advise of any concerns over unusual or erroneous order patterns and you will maintain finished good inventory that generate customer service levels of 98.5% or better, whilst ensuring write off of finished goods, due to short product life, is minimised. You will manage seasonal events in line with the business needs and will attend regular production review meetings as and when required. You will provide data and / or highlight concerns on a range of planning / production parameters such as yield or efficiency analysis and will consistently review sequencing of plans to reduce change overs, meet out loading requirements whilst balancing labour and production resource. You will work with the Material Planners to arrange for delivery of additional material into production departments as and when required. You will review and react to changes in customer priorities as and when required and will highlight where the Minimum production runs of a product exceeds the forecasted sales volume for the required shelf life. You will manage delist process of products to ensure minimum stock write-offs.

**Ideally this is you**
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced and challenging environment is desirable.
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety and in particular Food Safety requirements.
- Experience of working to set targets and deadlines.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, being able to follow instructions at all times.
- Experience of working on your own, using your own initiative, and to be able to work and contribute as part of a team is essential.
- Be able to demonstrate a desire to improve ways of working, share new ideas and to understand LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvements is an advantage.
- Must be PC literate and experienced in using and manipulating spreadsheets.
- Confident and able to communicate at levels in the organisation and positively represent Finsbury Food Group to external stakeholders.
