**Private Dentist in Bath**

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Private General Dental Practitioner to join our state-of-the-art fully private and digital dental practice located in the beautiful UNESCO city of Bath. As a member of our dynamic team, you will provide high-quality dental care to an established patient list using the latest digital technologies to enhance treatment outcomes and patient experiences with a strong focus on aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry as well as maintaining dental health.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Patient Care**:

- Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Perform a full range of dental procedures including but not limited to preventative treatments, fillings, veneers, crowns, onlays, bridges, extractions, and endodontic procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Ensure patient comfort and manage any dental anxieties through effective communication and empathy.
- Maintain a steady workflow and run on time with appointments.

**2. Digital Dentistry**:

- Utilise digital radiographic imaging, photography and iTero digital scanner, for accurate diagnostics, treatment planning and treatments.
- Collaborate with dental laboratories for smile design, digital models, crowns, onlays and other restorations with an emphasis on being mínimally invasive.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in digital dentistry and integrate them into daily practice to enhance patient care.

**3. Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team, including dental hygienists, dental therapist, specialists, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior dental professionals as needed.
- Participate in monthly practice meetings, quarterly clinicians meetings and case discussions, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

**4. Record Keeping and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and organised electronic patient records using Dentally.
- Document treatment plans, consent, procedures, and post-operative instructions clearly and comprehensively.

**5. Professional Development**:

- Stay current with best practices, and advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
- Maintain professional registration and minimum continuing professional development requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a private General Dental Practitioner (portfolio of evidence will assist greatly at interview).
- Proficiency in utilising digital dentistry and software for treatment planning and record keeping (desirable however full training can be provided)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages.
- Strong commitment to patient oriented care and ethical dental practices.
- Specialties and Specialist interests welcome.
