Sales Ledger Clerk

SALES LEDGER CLERK - NEWARK ON TRENT/NOTTINGHAM - UPTO £28,000

Hunter Mason are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk for one of the leading civil engineering, contract earth moving and plant hire companies in the East Midlands.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Producing sales invoices from various information sources - timesheets, purchase invoices, contract sheets etc.
- Credit checking potential new customers.
- Liaising with customers for order numbers and completion of work sign off.
- Project management.
- Chasing customer debts.
- Sending customer statements.
- As the client is a construction company, an understanding of the new VAT domestic reverse charge will quickly be needed.
- Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Sage Payroll would also be an advantage for holiday cover.
- Training can be provided.
