Milk Education are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have SEND, complex needs and physical difficulties on a short and long-term basis within specialist SEND school in Northumberland.

Previous experience working with children or young people with learning difficulties as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or within the Health and Social Care sector would be beneficial, however, the most important attribute is the willingness to get involved,being proactive and having a great energy
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, Level 4 Teaching Assistant or similar.
- Classroom experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and knowledge.
- Have strong behaviour management skills.
- Previous experience working with children, or young adults, with ASD and complex needs.
- Confidence dealing with pupils with different abilities and SEND requirements.
- A good knowledge of the National Curriculum or educational settings.
- Good communication skills.
- Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children.
