Paragon Planner

We are looking for a motivated and analytical individual to join our fast-growing home delivery business with locations nationwide.

You will be using your analytical and technical ability to help ensure the management team delivers the highest standards of analysis and reporting of KPIs to key stakeholders.

Daily Planning for the next day delivery operation for up to 200 vehicles, 13 sites and 5,000 deliveries

Key Skills required
- Transport planning experience with Paragon would be preferable but not essential
- The ability to pay attention to detail when working with data in order to make accurate conclusions and predictions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with all stakeholders
- A good understanding of SQL, BI, data sources, data organisation and storage
- Good IT and mathematical skills
- Understanding and ability to use Excel Pivot tables, functions and VBA
- Good geographical knowledge
- Empathy

Your Responsibilities
- Understand the impact of the planning function on operation, costs and drivers
- Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Mapping analysis
- Scheduling orders and communicating results to clients and internal teams
- Organising and transforming information into comprehensible structures
- Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
- Performing statistical analysis of data
- Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients
- Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
- Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year
