**The role**

ITV has a mature Cloud first technology strategy that underpins all of the core business strategy pillars; Supercharge Streaming, Expand Studios, Optimise Broadcast, Digital Transformation. As we continue to increase our Cloud usage it is critical that we fully understand budgeting for Cloud and that we maximise our investment.

The main purpose of this role is to own, manage, execute and evolve ITV’s Cloud Financial and SaaS Management operating model in order to provide:

- visibility of accurate, up-to-date data on ITV’s Cloud spend across multiple service providers, to be used as a basis for Technology and Product teams to make decisions on and to take action with to ensure cost efficiency
- appropriately skilled expertise in sufficient capacity to empower Technology teams to maximise the value of Cloud expenditure
- ITV’s CFM policies for Technology teams to use in managing Cloud expenditure

**Main responsibilities**
- In partnership with key stakeholders, define, implement, develop and maintain the FinOps operating model, FinOps policies, FinOps capabilities and all related strategy, planning and governance activities
- Develop reports that include cloud spend, utilisation, optimisation and KPIs
- Develop, maintain and report against a set of operational KPIs to ensure the CFM operating model continues to be effective
- Perform analysis and provide recommendations based on data to improve efficiencies and maximise investment in Cloud
- Adoption of FinOps culture across Technology teams, both Central and Divisional
- Responsible for prompting internal communications and the development or training needs in collaboration with ITV Learning and Development
- Responsible for the provision and availability of tooling to support the FinOps function
- Own and manage relationships with FinOps services and tooling suppliers
- Act as a centre of gravity to broker discussion between stakeholders, Cloud vendors and suppliers
- Responsible for commercial negotiations with Cloud suppliers, coordinating inputs, requirements and priorities from across all stakeholder groups

**Skills you’ll need **(minimum criteria)
- Extensive experience in a Cloud cost management role
- Experience of FinOps in a Poly Cloud environment
- Knowledge of building out a FinOps practice
- Knowledge of pricing models
- Experience of Cloud environments where usage regularly fluctuates
- Knowledge of native cloud cost management tools and third-party platforms
- Experience and working knowledge of native or third party cloud cost management tooling
- Experience of working in a devolved technology operating model where business divisions maintain their own technology teams and are responsible for ROI

- A level of technical competence relating to architectural, security and service quality principles of Cloud in order to perform effective analysis and provide well informed recommendations

- Ability to drive change management across the organisation
- Able to build effective and trusting stakeholder relationships whilst ensuring compliance to centrally managed policies in a devolved technology operating model
