We have some exciting, newly-developed SLTA roles available, at both the Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary sites to support the registered Speech and Language Therapists and the rest of the team. You will work across one or two key clinical areas, for example on the acute wards, in a rehabilitation setting and/or supporting our out-patient caseload within the Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) specialty., You will need to have some relevant clinical experience related to supporting people with communication and/or swallowing difficulties and be willing to learn on-the-job. You will be well-supported and your hours, whether full-time or part-time, can be worked flexibly across 5 days per week (currently Monday to Friday).

Therapy Assistants to work within the Speech & Language Therapy department at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic assistants who are keen to support our team of SLTs, SLT Assistant Practitioners/Assistants and Admin, and contribute to an excellent patient experience and the smooth running of the service.

As an SLTA you will provide support to our qualified Therapists, providing direct patient care, implementing patient therapy plans, as well as performing clinical administrative duties associated with the day to day running of the department.

**HUTH has two main sites**: Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area.

The Trust’s secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
