**Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement Lead (Northern Europe) - FMCG Manufacturing**

Our customer an established global manufacturer and a leader in their field are currently looking to appoint an extensively experienced Operational Excellence professional to lead, direct, and control the organisations Continuous Improvement projects acrossNorthern Europe.

**Operational Excellence Lead - The Rewards**
- Basic Salary of £100,000 to £130,000 DOE
- Hybrid Home Based Role

**Operational Excellence Lead - The Requirements**
- Extensive experience of working within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment, ideally covering both the UK & Europe or Worldwide Operations
- Previous experience within the FMCG, Food, Packaging or similar industry sectors
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Operational Excellence / Performance Excellence / Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrable experience of leading and driving UK wide Continuous Improvement projects to drive quality, waste and productivity across sites
- Extensive experience of working with business leaders, operations directors, sales and marketing managers and key customers and suppliers to identify roadblocks to effective and efficient operation performance
- Proven Lean Transformation experience
- Ideally qualified in Operational Excellence / Six Sigma Black Belt / TPM etc.
- Strategic thinker able to negotiate a complex matrix of authority and decision making

**Operational Excellence Lead - Responsibilities**
- Support key leadership and management stakeholders to assess current processes and improvement opportunities and ensure appropriate action plans are in place
- Responsible for updating, developing and leading Continuous Improvement capability, working across a matrix organization of Central and Regional Operational CI teams Responsible for effective planning and deployment of the programmes
- Provide mentoring/training to key organisation stakeholders on the use and practice of lean methodology and tools
- Coach, mentor and manage regional operational and continuous improvement leaders during projects
- Empower and challenge the Country and Site teams on their effectiveness, impact on results and their ability to achieve the Site's full potential.
- Update, formulate and revise the use of processes, metrics and short
- and long-term goals and objectives within the Region
- Responsible for the divisional business process improvement initiatives being understood, communicated, executed and measured across the business
- Responsible to roll-out process improvement methodologies content for the organisation
- Challenge and act upon the appropriate dashboards to monitor projects and their success
- Monitor productivity within the projects and develop improvement opportunities
- Ensure robust process control plans and follow-up are in place.
- Adheres to the organisational Project Delivery Framework
- Act as a change agent by challenging existing approaches and performance. Drive the use of process improvement and lean methodologies throughout the business
- Lead and develop Divisional projects strategies, goals and plans which enable the organisational improvement of internal operations and practices.
- Facilitate Continuous Excellence events for key transformational activities
- Lead by example (role model) as an active change agent managing complex projects and leverage influencing skills
