Delivery Driver for Bramblecrest

As part of our commitment to exceptional customer service, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. If you have a passion for delivering top-notch service and ensuring our customers receive their orders in pristine condition, we want to hear from you.
A typical day will consist of 4 customer drops with some product assembly and include loading vehicles ready for the next day.

**Responsibilities**:
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport Bramblecrest garden furniture to designated locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers across the UK.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Bramblecrest's safety guidelines during transportation.
- Ensure that all loads are accurately loaded and checked before departure.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, assisting with the unloading process and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Building customers sets on delivery when required and the removal of packaging waste.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness.
- Report any maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with the Logistics team for timely repairs.
- Complete accurate delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and any necessary paperwork.
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, ensuring all necessary information is recorded.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Report any delivery challenges, discrepancies, or customer feedback to the appropriate department.
What we are looking for:
- Preferably hold C1 UK driver's license
- No more than 3 penalty points.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required.
- Basic mechanical ability for routine vehicle checks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks as needed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
