The role itself
- Responsible for all employee relations throughout the organisation
- Provide managers with professional advice and guidance on all areas of HR policy and practice
- Support the development and introduction of new and existing policies, procedures, and processes for HR in line with legislation
- Involvement in Recruitment and selection - working with managers to identity best talent
- Implementation of appraisal process for the business
- Responsibility for Staff IntraNet and internal communications
- Responsible HR Projects around well being and mental health
- Taking the lead on initiatives, celebrating success and employee recognition
- Training & Development. Identifying skills gap.
- Full responsibility for onboarding and induction process
- Management of the Exit Interview process and provide feedback to Directors
- Participate in design and implementation of projects in line with strategic business goals
- CSR programme
- Updating of handbook and other key documents
- Graduate interaction. Putting the business on the map for a career option.
- Management of HR files/records in line with compliance and audit
- Proven track record working in a senior HR role
- 7 years plus working in Human Resources
- Experience working within in an SME organisation
- A full generalist background including recruitment and training
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Positive approach, professional and confidence to deliver in line with objectives
- Can work in an autonomous role with a varied workload
- Be able to engage with want to make a difference
- CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent
