Higham Hall College Ltd is a small business in Cockermouth. We are professional, supportive, social, and our goal is to to provide a creative hub for enrichment and development for adults of all ages..

Our work environment includes:

Preparing breakfasts, lunches and dinners
(7.5 hour straight shifts between 7am and 8pm, some weekends, rota with our 3 other Cooks plus extra hours occasionally covering for holidays).

A rare full-time opportunity for a flexible, experienced Cook who enjoys homemade food prepared on site, keeping people sustained following tried and tested recipes. Numbers for any meal can be between 10 and 50. We offer a set menu with vegetarian option and, of course, cater for diets and allergies. All ingredients are carefully sourced and we have excellent facilities.
- A unique and special place to be, Higham is a 7-day-a-week rural residential college between Cockermouth and Keswick attracting adult students from all the UK for short learning breaks. Food is valued highly and is one of our key strengths, alongside excellent courses in a friendly and homely environment_

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5-30 per week

**Salary**: £12.11 per hour
