We are looking for invigilators to supervise exams being held in the next few months. This is a casual role which would suit someone who is punctual and reliable. Experience is not required, as training will be provided. The hourly rate is £11.97 per hour. Casual workers also receive ‘rolled up holiday’ payments of 12% for each month they work.
- Need to be be available to work mornings from 8.15 am and/or afternoons from 1.00 pm
- Be punctual, reliable and flexible
- Dress smartly
- Have effective communication skills
- Be required to undertake a DBS check prior to starting

**Main duties**
- Work within a team of invigilators supervising students undertaking examinations
- Setting up exam rooms in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidelines, and help clear the room after the exam
- Dealing with queries raised by students
- Administer examinations so that they are conducted in accordance with all regulations and guidelines
- To play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination process

**Before exams**
- Report to and be briefed by the exams officer prior to each exam session
- Keep confidential exam question papers and materials secure before, during and after exams
- Ensure exam rooms are set up according to the requirements
- Start exams

**During exams**
- Keep disruption in exam rooms to a minimum
- Deal with emergencies or irregularities effectively
- Record/report any incidents, disruption or irregularities
- Complete attendance registers

**After exams**
- Securely return all exam scripts and exam materials to the exams officer

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £11.79 per hour
