**Job overview**:
Ward H5 is a busy neurosurgical Emergency Admisison units accepting patients from all acorss Greater Manchester.
This is a dual role divided between ward clerk
Ensure that patient admission documentation is maintained appropriately and that a record is kept of clinical activity, as required- After appropriate training, take responsibility for accurate data entry and retrieval via computer e.g., P.A.S., Case note tracking, Open eyes, radiology and pathology and other systems.The roles involve working Monday - Fri 16:00 - 20:00
**Main duties of the job**:
This is a busy patient facing reception desk with constant phone calls and queries, IT skills, good telephone manner and excellent organisational skills are a must.
We are a multi-disciplinary, happy, diverse ophthalmic team, working on a busy ward, operating on patients with various eye conditions plus a busy emergency clinic running alongside.
We are looking for someone who wants a challenge and is willing to be flexible
