**Buyer**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Planning and scheduling of business purchasing requirements
- Constantly monitor and conduct analysis of MRP systems to identify market trends
- Implement and maintain inventory control levels, optimizing stock levels and investigate any stock deficiencies
- Generate purchase orders for desired products
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships
- Liaise with stores team on stock levels and stock shortages
- Setting up minimum and maximum stock levels which matches requirements of the business
- Attend production meetings and provide updates on any procurement issues
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone
- A minimum of 2 years (+) previous experience in procurement
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work both alone and alongside a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Proven experience in planning
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems (Desirable)
