Would you like to contribute to improving our patients' experience? Are you inspired to help increase engagement from our service users, carers and relatives?

This position is primarily office-based, however there maybe occasions when you are called upon to offercommunity interventions.

This is a Monday to Friday, 9-5 role, although compressed hours and flexible working will be considered.

This role will suit you if you like working with people and building a good rapport with service users and carers.

We are looking for a proactive, energetic, enthusiastic person who is good at problem solving and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve patient engagement. We envisage a passionate person in this role, seeking to improving our service users' experience by understanding the barriers to attending mental health appointments and feeding this into future service development.

You will gain an understanding of the trailblazing service we run with the voluntary sector and be a key part of linking services users and carers in with this service.

Our friendly team enjoys occasional team days/nights out, Christmas parties and secret Santa - optional for those who identify as Scrooge

- To ask what we can do to facilitate another appointment, including any support needed including arrange another if needed
- Provide details of alternative means of support if they continue to decline an appointment, including Recovery College and Mindline
- Link-in with people who did not attend but have asked for another appointment

Contact identified people after their appointment
- Offer to help them register with the Recovery College, voluntary sector groups or similar
- Provide details of alternative means of support including Recovery College and Mindline
- Check their understanding of the plan and escalation plan

Contact identified Carers
- Offer carers’ assessment and send carer's pack
- Provide details of carers support
- Provide them with details of Recovery College, Mindline and similar
- Check they understand and are involved in escalation plan
- Check they know who to contact including Key Worker details
- Check to see if they have any follow-up questions
- To ensure RiO contacts and Next of Kin are recorded
