Overview

**Purpose of the role**:
The primary purpose of this position is to lead the Pitch Team’s contribution to the new Retirement Project.
Take ownership of all Pitch Team work resulting from the retirement project.
Continue to enhance standard documents as you become aware of new questions.
This role is dedicated to working in our agile UK Retirement team. This team is focussed on delivering on one of our strategic initiatives to enhance our Multi-Asset proposition. The induvial in this role will be expected to deliver on their work to achieve our sales targets. This includes joining the team stand-ups, owning their items on our backlog and owning the processes needed to deliver on their work. The team works with a mindset of continuous improvement so the induvial will be expected to enhance the processes they own, bring new ideas to the table and execute on those ideas with the support of the wider team.

**Main responsibilities**:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the UK Sales team and Newton

Maintenance and continued enhancement of standard RFPs for the four existing multi asset funds.

Creation and continued enhancement of the standard RFP and Operational DDQ for the Future Legacy range of funds.

To complete all bespoke RFPs and DDQs that are submitted by UK sales.

Adhere to 15 working day turnaround time and accommodate, where possible, shorter dated requests.

Prioritise as appropriate when workflow is greater than capability to complete

**Key outcomes**:
**Success in this role will be demonstrated by**:
The UK sales team achieving its target for Multi Asset and Future Legacy business.
Delivering an RFP success rate at the agreed level.

**Core skills and experience required**:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Good standard of written English and grammar

Excellent attention to detail

A strong team player and self-motivated

Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines

Capable of exercising sound judgement and good decision-making

Good organisational skills and self-discipline in managing priorities

Demonstrable experience of UK financial planning and/or investment management

Prior experience working within the financial services industry, particularly within an asset management firm or fund service provider

**Qualifications**:
Degree level preferred but not essential

UK Retirement Financial Planning accreditation / exam pass level preferred but not essential
